BACK STORY
Give a little nudge person:
I was always called the "quit workmates" person, and I hadn't realized it until a few months ago.
Every time I started a new job, I would meet my colleagues, create good relationships, and understand who they are and what they like to do, engaging in deep and real chats because that's honestly what I'm all about. I would exclaim, “Oh mate, you can be and do so much more than this. We're just staying in our comfort zone here. If you are not 100 percent happy, you should try that thing that has been on your mind. You can really do it.”
I found myself having this kind of chat several times, and I realized that even I sometimes needed that ONE person to give me that little nudge to make things happen. We don't realize how important that one sentence can be to someone else. This doesn't mean that you are responsible for someone else's success; it's all up to them, but it could make a difference, trust me. After a few months of this, my nudge person was my partner. He said, “You are always feeling great about everyone else, why don't you do this yourself?” It took me a few headaches to take that JUMP, the real one, not just thinking about it, but taking action. I am still scared and lost 90 percent of the time, but once the ball rolls, reality comes in.
It's been 2 years of hard work and they say you succeed in year 10, so I am just starting. Designing clothes is just a peek of everything that CONFIDENT VIBES represents, so stay tuned because I am just starting.
